We’re the UK’s first ever social enterprise public relations agency and we’re looking for our next Public Relations Account Manager.

● A Goodwork Account Manager is a self-starter with a creative eye that cares about what is happening in the world. ●You’re insightful, resourceful and a team player. ● You’ve worked on a communications team and have one or two projects you’re proud of and excited to share with us. ● You know what needs to be done day-to-day to keep a project moving forward (even if the client doesn’t!) ● You’re familiar with UK newsrooms, how to

speak to journalists and you know what needs to be done to grab their attention. ● You love putting people at the forefront and you know how to find those hidden gems that really make

for a good story. ● You’ll be the champion who helps raise awareness and the profile of our important charities and their causes.

This is a full-time position, with the expectation of being in the Chiswick office 3 days a week and WFH 2 days a week for team meetings or client interactions, so please consider your ability to travel to London.

You must have a full permit to work in the UK. No exceptions.

Key Skills/ Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience in client-facing PR/Communications role

  • Experience in media relations strategy (understanding of UK media landscape and how to match the right outlet to the right client)

  • High level of communication skills; ability to create and present new client pitches

  • Experience in social media campaign planning

  • Experience in generating thought-leadership content and positioning

  • Creative mind for innovative content and strategy

  • Resourceful and proactive, able to independently troubleshoot and solve problems

  • Fluent written and spoken English

Assets:

  • Other languages would be helpful but not essential.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator (should a client need visuals adapted/created directly)

  • Experience/ general knowledge of the UK charity sector

  • Media/ influencer contacts
